About this policy
Subst.iD B.V., trading as Ver.iD, is responsible for the use of cookies and similar technologies on the public website at ver.id. This policy covers that website. Our Privacy Policy explains more about personal data and your rights.
Cookies are small pieces of information stored in your browser. We also use local storage and session storage to remember choices. Local storage can remain between visits; session storage is limited to a browser tab's session.
Preferences and campaign links
We use the following browser storage on ver.id:
| Name | Type and provider | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|
| `verid-locale` | Cookie, Ver.iD | Remembers a language you explicitly select. | 365 days after a language selection. |
| `verid-cookie-consent` | Local storage, Ver.iD | Remembers whether you accepted or rejected Leadinfo tracking. | No automatic expiry; the choice remains until changed or the browser data is cleared. |
| `verid-cookie-settings-focus` | Session storage, Ver.iD | Returns keyboard focus to Cookie Settings after you withdraw consent. | Removed after the page reloads, or when the tab's session ends. |
| `utm_temp` | Cookie, Ver.iD | Temporarily preserves campaign parameters when they are removed from an incoming link. | 60 seconds. |
The preference entries support your choices and the settings control. The campaign cookie is set when you open a link containing campaign parameters, independently of your Leadinfo choice. Your browser may remove stored information earlier.
Company recognition and visit statistics
We use Leadinfo B.V. to recognise companies visiting our website and understand their interest in our pages. Leadinfo processes your IP address and visit information, including pages visited, the date and time of the visit, and the referring page. It uses the IP address to associate a visit with a company and provides us with company information and visit statistics.
We load Leadinfo only after you select Accept in our cookie banner, or when this browser has a saved acceptance. Selecting Reject leaves Leadinfo disabled. You can use the website without accepting it.
When analytics cookies are enabled, Leadinfo uses _li_id.* to recognise returning visitors, with a documented lifetime of two years, and _li_ses.* to record pages visited during the current session. Leadinfo may also temporarily buffer unsent tracking events in your browser's local storage. These details come from Leadinfo's cookie and storage documentation.
For information about the provider, see Leadinfo's Privacy Policy.
Change your choice
Open Cookie Settings in the website footer to change your choice. To withdraw consent, select Reject. The page reloads to stop Leadinfo, and the website remembers your rejection. This stops future tracking in that browser; it does not automatically delete information already collected.
You can also use your browser settings to delete cookies and other site data. Deleting the stored consent choice makes the banner appear again. Your choice applies to the browser in which you make it; other browsers and devices have their own settings.
