Services
Explore your use case with us.
We explore which digital credentials and agreements your use case needs, and what it would take to put it into practice.
- Use case
- Which digital credentials you need and for what purpose.
- Suitable options
- Which existing agreements, frameworks and rulebooks fit.
- Next steps
- What still needs to be researched or developed.
What does the exploration involve?
We explore how digital credentials could address your organisation’s needs. Together we establish what you want to prove, which existing agreements and solutions fit, and what needs to be put in place.
You do not need to have chosen an issuance route, trust framework or rulebook. You receive recommendations on your options and next steps, with the reasoning behind them and any research or design work still needed. This service can be purchased separately, without using the Ver.iD platform.
- Digital credentials
- What should they prove, for whom and for what purpose?
- Agreements and options
- Which existing frameworks, rulebooks and solutions fit?
- Technical options
- Which systems, wallets and integrations are needed for issuance and use?
Our guidance.
Our specialists help you understand the options and make informed decisions about your use case.
A clearly defined use case.
Which digital credentials do we need for our use case? You get a clear picture of what you need to prove, to whom and for what purpose. We examine your processes, available data and intended use.
We start with the question you want to explore. Detailed data definitions and the content of a new rulebook can be developed afterwards.
- Purpose
- Prove that a participant is registered for a particular exam.
- Use
- The exam venue needs to check that the participant’s registration is still valid when they arrive.
- Data
- Which registration data is available and what information does the exam venue need?
Options that fit your use case.
What agreements do we need to issue and use these credentials? We recommend suitable agreements and solutions, explaining why they fit. We examine existing trust frameworks and rulebooks, responsibilities and technical options.
We assess legal requirements and technical compatibility separately. If suitable agreements are missing, we identify the additional research or design work needed.
- Existing agreements
- Which agreements and definitions already exist for exam registrations?
- Participating parties
- Who can confirm the registration and under which conditions does the exam venue accept the proof?
- Technical options
- Which combination of credential, wallet and system integration should we explore for this use case?
An informed next step.
What would it take to put our use case into practice? You receive recommendations for next steps, including outstanding decisions and dependencies. Together we identify the design work, integration or trial needed.
The recommendations build on the exploration. A complete new rulebook, proof of concept or implementation is agreed separately.
- Starting points
- The intended use, data source and available information.
- Suitable options
- Usable agreements and rulebooks, with conditions still to be confirmed.
- Open questions
- Which technical integration or collaboration still requires research or a trial?
- Next steps
- The proposed next steps and who should be involved.
How we work together.
We start with your question and what you already know. Before starting, we agree which decisions the exploration should support, who provides input and which recommendations you receive. We also agree the work required and the schedule.
Your team brings practical knowledge
You explain how your processes currently work, which data and systems are available and what you want to achieve. We build on existing agreements, designs or earlier findings. You appoint a contact and involve colleagues who can review the assumptions and decide how to proceed.
Our specialists investigate
We structure the question, investigate suitable options and discuss the trade-offs with your team. We explain the basis for our recommendations, the assumptions we make and the questions that remain open.
Together we involve other parties
Where needed, we involve organisations that supply data, use credentials or maintain existing agreements. We ask about their requirements and capabilities. Our recommendations clearly identify anything that still needs confirmation.
What you receive after the exploration
- A clearly defined use case and the digital credentials it needs.
- Recommendations on suitable options, agreements and setup, with the reasoning behind them.
- Outstanding decisions, dependencies and proposed next steps.
We discuss the recommendations and outstanding questions with your team. The exploration ends when we hand over the agreed results. Your organisation decides how to proceed; a new rulebook, trial or implementation requires a separate agreement.
Practical questions
Yes. You do not need to know which digital credentials, agreements or technology will fit. Tell us which problem you want to solve or which process you want to improve. In the first conversation, we decide together whether an exploration would help and which questions to focus on.
- Is an exploration useful if our idea is still at an early stage?
- Yes. You do not need to know which digital credentials, agreements or technology will fit. Tell us which problem you want to solve or which process you want to improve. In the first conversation, we decide together whether an exploration would help and which questions to focus on.
- Can you build on work we have already done?
- Yes. We build on earlier findings, designs, existing agreements or a trial. The exploration focuses on outstanding decisions, such as whether existing work suits a different use case or what needs to be in place before you can proceed.
- What if our use case is not feasible yet?
- We explain the obstacles and the conditions that need to be met first. We may recommend adapting the use case, investigating a specific uncertainty or holding off for now.
- Do we have to use the Ver.iD platform after the exploration?
- No. You can commission the exploration separately. You receive the recommendations and decide how to proceed. If you want to continue working with us, we make separate arrangements for work such as rulebook design, a trial or implementation.
- How long does an exploration take and what does it cost?
- The research questions, available documentation and coordination required determine the work involved. We start with a no-obligation conversation. Before work begins, we agree the activities, schedule, costs and your team’s contribution.
Which question would you like to explore?
Tell us what your organisation wants to achieve and where you are uncertain. In the first conversation we determine which questions an exploration with Ver.iD should answer.
